GAIC Group Holds First Sales Conference: Unleash – Success Through Sales

May 9, 2025 — Diliman, Quezon City – GAIC Group reached a new milestone in its corporate journey by hosting its first-ever Sales Conference, with the theme “Unleash: Success Through Sales” at the University of the Philippines School of Labor and Industrial Relations (UP SOLAIR). The event brought together leaders, employees, sales/marketing and recruitment professionals from across the GAIC Group to align strategies, share insights, and strengthen collaboration toward future growth.

The conference opened with inspirational remarks from Mr. Jan Ivan Santamaria, President of GAIC, who emphasized the importance of focus and individual contribution.

“Today is a very important day—each one of you will be asked what your contribution will be to the GAIC Group,” he said. “That’s why we are gathered here as one group—GAIC, GAMSI, GAMSI Health Services, and GAPSI—to push harder to continuously uphold the business. This will also allow us to work toward providing better salaries and benefits for everyone.”

He concluded his message with a strong call to action:

“Through today’s shared learnings with our resource speakers, I encourage you to execute what we’ve discussed over the next six to seven months. Let’s carry these insights in our hearts and minds and act on them as we work toward our goals for the year 2025.”

Business Outlook and Performance

Key leaders delivered updates on the Group’s quarterly sales performance, business pipeline, and targets:

The event featured two focused plenary sessions:

Plenary Session 1: “Recruitment – The Sales You Didn’t Know About”

This session shed light on the often-overlooked role of recruitment in driving sales performance. Speakers included:

The event also recognized top-performing employees, with awards presented for 1st Quarter Top Achievers and LinkedIn Skill Builder Champion.

To cap off the celebration, departments competed in a lighthearted and energetic dance competition, with performances from:

  • Accounting Group – OK Na To Dancers

  • Talent Deployment & Compliance – D’ T’mangs and T’mongs Craze

  • GAMSI Operations/TSED/Marketing – Chicken Banana Group

  • Talent Acquisition & Assessment – D Giggles 2.0

The GAMSI Operations / TSED /Marketing was declared the champion, earning cheers for their creativity and teamwork.

Closing and Celebration

Mr. Victor Perez, SVP – Managing Director for Subsidiaries and Logistics, delivered the closing remarks:

“Despite the challenges, GAIC Group has managed to maintain its revenue.”

The successful day concluded with a celebratory dinner at Vikings, The Alley, UP Town Center, marking not only the end of the conference but the beginning of a more unified, driven, and forward-thinking GAIC Group.
